The Sellindge Music Festival takes place at Hope Farm, Sellindge, near Ashford in Kent, with a fusion of folk, world, dance and indie music. Having grown out of the Sellindge Steam Special, the Sellindge Music Festival is now a dedicated three-day music festival thanks to the success of 2008's event.

The acts confirmed include Supergrass, and Young Knives, who will be topping the bill at this year's event, plus Red Light Company, The Holloways, Marina And The Diamonds, Thomas Tantrum, 4 or 5 Magicians, The Answering Machine, Cut La Roc, Brandon Block, Saman'i, Eddy Temple Morris, Micky Slim, and NorthSouthDivide. For the line-up details as available please click here.

2009 will see last year's dance tent become the 'HeadRoc Arena', the brainchild of two of Kent's dance nights, Evissa and Basslick. The full line-up is yet to be announced for the event, which sees BBC Kent Introducing's return, as well as a brand new acoustic stage, The festival held a competition called 'The Main Stage Talent Tournament' which awarded The Little Philistines, and Monday Street slots on the main stage.

Weekend ticket-holders will be able to enter the festival site, camping field and music arena from 3pm on Friday 5th June. The music arena will open at 10am on the Saturday and Sunday for weekend ticket-holders and those with single day tickets for the appropriate day. The music arena will close at 12am each night.
