Shamania is set in 30 acres of beautiful North East Lancashire countryside and will be held, Friday 1st until Monday 4th August.
Notice: Due to adverse weather conditions experienced on Thursday 31st July, the site will now open at 1pm Friday 1st August and entry is restricted to ticket holders only. There are no tickets available on the gate until further notice.
This festival, with a psytrance edge, offers three days of live acts, DJs, chill out, talks and workshops and has been allowed a 24hr music policy starting at 6pm Friday until 2am on the Monday and this covers 3 stages. Plus DJs, VJs, visuals and walkabout characters.
Last year's main stage is to become the second stage covering all none psy-music types with a lager main stage being brought in as its replacement and there will be a chill out area.
The aim is to offer the same chilled out friendly festival only slightly bigger and better which the organisers guarantee will once again blow your mind.
This year's line-up includes:
Main Stage: Eatstatic, Cosmosis, Safi Connection, Jon Phantasm, Hydraglyph, Dickster, Error Corrective, M-Theory; plus resident DJs from Sunrise, Kulu, Cabbage, Alien Resonance, Planet Zogg, Fat Moon, Soma-Sonic, Mess Media, Strange Daze, and Psy-Base.
Alternative Stage: D.A.V.E. the Drummer, Adam Lab4 - DJ set, Chris Liberator, Sam Townsend, Sol Ray, Dynamic Intervention, Mobile Dogwash (live), Ron Atomizer, Fil Bray, Ben Fraser (live), DJ Pod, Greg Zogg, Dil Zogg, aNTAcid, John Tuxman, and Ashen Project.
Chill Out: Friday: Dan Compression, Nanook. Saturday: Cosmonaughty, Gerry Aum, Bez23, DJ Badger, Goatboy, Johnny M, Barclay, and J.I.C. Sunday: Greg Hunter, Merv Pepler, OVNI, AstroDruid, Superboss, Si Splatt, Honky Dub Inc., Synchronistic Sound, and Tetchi.
Plus Riff Raff DJs: Selkirk, Glowbones, Oly NRG, Spiritus, Trikster, Keith Fox, Will Power, Ben Warren, and Anna P.
On Saturday DJs from Trailer Trash including Kim Trash, James Deane, Annie, and The Riff Raff Off-licence facility will also be available, during the daytime!
On Sunday Boomtown Promotions return with Rob Tissera, Shack & Kenny, Easy-D, Craig C & DJ Rich, and Grant Holmes.
Early bird tickets are currently available at the discounted prices below until Monday 1st Ma7 2008. Children under ten years old can come for free (up to 2 children under ten, are free, per adult ticket purchased) Any additional children’s tickets after the 1st two, will be charged at £10 each.
Adult ticket(18 and over) priced at £60 each. Youth ticket 11 to 17 years old) priced at £25 each. Child ticket (10 and under) £0.01 for 1st two, then £10.00 each. Car Parking Passes are priced at £5.00 each, and £10 for campervans. Tickets will also be available for purchase on the gate throughout the weekend. Tickets can be purchased here.
