Soundwave (Croatia) '11

Soundwave happens from Friday 22nd until Sunday 23rd July 2011. The festival site is in the gorgeous surroundings of Petrcane, close to Zadar, A fishing village on a peninsular where the Dalmation Coast meets The Adriatic Sea, the same site that the Garden Festival is held.

Line-up

The line-up includes Bonobo & Full Band, Roots Manuva, Little Dragon, Zero 7, Floating Points, Belleruche, Yungun & Mr Thing, Andreya Triana, Keb Darge, Hexstatic, Jamie XX, Channel One Soundsystem, Smerins Anti-Social Club, Lazy Habits, Submotion Orchestra, Anchorsong, Kutmah, Kidkanevil, Wrong Tom, Shepdog, Stuart McCallam, DJ Format, Riot Jazz, Cheeba, DJ Spin Doctor, Johnny Dub, and Illum Sphere, with more still to be announced.

On site

The festival has an outside Amphitheatre for live acts, a Beach Side Terrace for day & night time dancing and a 600 capacity nightclub for the beats to go on right through the night. Plus boat parties (tickets are extra).

Accommodation

There are hotels, campsites, apartments and villas and even boats all within close proximity to the festival site.

Getting there

Zadar is the nearest airport, only 20 minutes by car. Split is 90 minutes by car and Zagreb 3 hours by car. These journey times are for the highway route and will take a little longer by bus or coach.
