Headliners Spiritualized have cancelled their Saturday night appearance, however Battles still headline Friday. Early bird tickets have sold out. An adult weekend ticket with camping is priced at £120, a student or teen (13-17) ticket is priced at £100, children aged 12 and under can go free. Car parking tickets are priced at £5. To buy tickets click here.Fancy-dress
This year's theme is Gods & Monsters, and Standon even has The Chariot of the Sun - a rolling stage, moving around the festival site showcasing live performance and music and providing a platform for the Gods & Monsters story to be told, as well as open stage spots.On site
There are numerous stages and the odd unexpected stage appearing from nowhere. The festival boasts a number of bars, one of which is hewn out of an enormous oak tree, secret areas, interactive theatre, swimming pool (with underwater dance area), boutique camping (beach huts, yurts and tipis), kids area, and festival food.Ethos
The organisers are trying to make this festival as ethical and green as possible, recycling all and sundry and sourcing locally where possible and they are raising money for charity too. Standon Calling's chosen charity Phoenix Futures, a charity that supports people in drug and alcohol rehabilitation, receives £2 from every ticket sold.More information will be here when available.
