A folk-based festival with workshops and music events originally staged by a non-profitmaking music and dance organisation, Woodworks.
The original aim has not changed, encouraging the participation and enjoyment of the folk arts, and drawing on assistance from the local community. Along with a UK-wide network of musicians, dancers, tutors and enthusiasts, opportunities are provided for people of all ages to come together to learn, listen, network, and enjoy live music.
Organisers announced there would not be an event in 2012.
