Organised by friends of the late Joe Strummer, this is intended to be a celebration and tribute with any profits to be given to charity. It's already proving a popular idea - the venue has now been changed to the Rugby Club to accomodate larger numbers.
Bands and acts already confirmed include The Beat feat Rankin Roger; Goldblade and Neville Staple's Specials. The full line-up to date can be found here.
All performances will be held under cover in marquees, the main one of which measures 260 feet long and has a capacity of several thousands. There will be secure on-site camping and car parking, floodlit and security patrolled. Bar and catering services will be available at reasonable prices from 8am 'til very late.
