This years Strummercamp Festival will be taking place from Friday 23rd until Sunday 25th May at a new location, Bowdon Rugby Club, Clay Lane, Timperley, Altrincham. Organised by friends of the late Joe Strummer, this is intended to be a celebration and tribute run on a not-for-profit basis.

The acts confirmed so far include three headliners Sham 69, Dreadzone, and The Beat, with support from The King Blues, Sonic Boom Six, Random Hand, The Mentalists, Dirty Revolution, Roughneck Riot, The Cropdusters, Take the 5th - Clash tribute, D.I.L.E., White Light Parade, Failsafe, Transmission - Joy Division tribute, Radio Revelucion, and also a performance of the play 'Meeting Joe Strummer'.

The festival is spread over 2 stages: the Main stage; and the Veterans stage featuring the best acts from the previous year's festivals. For those wanting to relax away from the main stages, the Axis Sound System will be on hand playing classic reggae cuts throughout the weekend in the Axis Sound System Marquee. Plus festival goers can expect a cinema, comedy, poetry, and more.

Tickets are priced at £59.50 for a 3 day weekend pass including car park/camping or £35 a day and £15 for kids. Saturday or Sunday Adults £35.00, £10.00 for children under 14 accompanied by an adult ticket holder. Admission for children under 10 years of age free. Admission to Friday event is open to full weekend ticket holders only. No day tickets are available for Friday event. Click here to buy tickets.
