Sunningwell Festival '12

The biannual Sunningwell Festival will take place from Friday 1st to Sunday 10th June 2012, in the centre of the little village of Sunningwell, only 5 miles from Oxford.

The festival offers a line-up of pop music, opera, theatre, choral and instrumental concerts, Morris Dancing, art exhibitions, mini iron man competitions and even a dog show.

Saturday 26th May - A Garland For Our Queen (pre-festival event) at St Leonard's Church. £10 (£8 concessions)
Saturday 2nd June Colla Voce choral performance at a 'secret location' in the woods. £10
Saturday 2nd June First night proper of the festival, Third Degree LeBurn with support band 'The Limitations' on Pond stage. £10
Sunday 3rd June The David Rees Williams Trio on the Pond stage. £15
Monday 4th June Parallel Blondie + Silver on the Pond stage. £10
Tuesday 5th June Spiers & Boden + support on the Pond Stage. £15
Wednesday 6th June Theatre in the Village Hall. £12 and £10
Thursday 7th June Leburn & The Limitations on the Pond stage. £10
Friday 8th and Saturday 9th June Opera Anywhere perform the Mikado at the Last Night of the Proms on the Pond stage. From £15 to £20.
Sunday 10th June The S Factor with local bands (TBA) on the Pond stage. Free.

Parking

Free car parking will be available at all venues. During the pond events the road through Sunningwell will be closed, it is therefore recommended that festival goers enter Sunningwell via the Wootton Road and park in the spaces provided at the cricket field or village hall.

Festival goers can bring picnics or take advantage of the Cafe which will be open most days or the fully licensed bar which will be open during evening performances.
