Now in its 11th year, The Shires is predominantly a bike custom show, which this year offers happens from Friday 29th and Saturday 30th June 2012. The Show site is located on the A41 at Ternhill (2 miles from Market Drayton), opposite New Cott services in Shropshire.
Line-up
Friday: Leatherat, Stevie, Four Wheel Drive, Half Shot, and Roots to Nowhere.
Saturday: Blues Brothers Tribute, The Swillers, The Jalapenos, Taymar Pidgeon, Colour me Blind, Dance hall Giants, and Juno & the Muk.
Tickets
An adult weekend ticket is priced at £20 (£25 on the gate), OAPs tickets are priced at £10, and kids under 12 tickets are priced at £5. Camping is only available to ticket holders only. There are parking charges for those not riding a motorcycle or Trike. Cars are charged at £10, campervans £20, and cars with a caravan £25. To buy tickets, click here.
No Dogs Allowed. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Backpatch clubs by prior arrangement only.
Camping
The festival offers a camping field and a car parking area.
Charities
The Show hopes to make as much money as possible for charity, promote custom biking and to provide a great weekend's entertainment for show goers. The Shires supports Help For Heroes.
