Licensed for 15,000 Parklife Festival takes place at Platts Field Park, Manchester on Saturday 12th June 2010. The event is part of the 100th year anniversary celebrations of the Park.

Line-up

Friendly Fires will headline with Calvin Harris, Erol Alkan, Kissy Sellout, Booka Shade, Vitalic, Simian Mobile Disco, DJ Hype, Toddla T, Buraka Som Sistema and Magnetic Man also confirmed. Plus many more. For the line-up details as available please click here. This event is being brought to you by The Warehouse Project, Mad Ferret, Trof, Now Wave, Ape and Metropolis.

Tickets

Tickets were priced at £29.50 and have SOLD OUT for adults and children over the age of 16 years. There were a limited number of early bird tickets available at £25 but these are available on a strictly first-come-first-served basis. A limited number of 1,000 weekend tickets (for this and The Warehouse Project Presents which happens the day before) were available priced at £55 each.

There will be a giant screen for all those who will undoubtedly want to watch the second day of the FIFA World Cup in South Africa. The England game against South Africa will be shown live at 8.30pm. Along with activities for the whole family including themed chill out zones, live interactive art, funfair, magicians, celebrity 5-a-side and a giant bouncy castle.
