The second Parklife Festival will take place over two days at Platts Field Park, Manchester on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th June 2011.

Line-up

Across six arenas (one more than in 2010) and a main stage, the line-up includes Two Door Cinema Club, Everything Everything, Chase & Status, Skream & Benga, Mark Ronson (DJ set), Annie Mac, Kelis, Katy B, Fenech-Soler, Dutch Uncles, Jaymo & Andy George, Beardyman, Boys Noize, Fake Blood, Modeselektor & Pfadfinderei, Spank Rock & Amanda Blank, Carte Blanche (Medhi & Doorly), Simian Mobile Disco, Adam Beyer, James Holden, Seth Troxler, Doom, Hercules And Love Affair, Jamie XX, Mount Kimbie, Rob da Bank, Kode 9 and Spaceape, Mystery Jets, Metronomy, Darwin Deez, D/R/U/G/S, Egyptian Hip Hop, Sub Focus, Caspa & Rod Azlan, Breakage feat. Tickets

Early bird tickets have sold out. Day tickets, and weekend tickets priced at £58.50 for adults and children over the age of 16 years have sold out. Only Saturday VIP tickets are still available priced at £99. To buy tickets, click here.

Expect activities for the whole family including themed chill out zones, live interactive art, funfair, magicians, celebrity 5-a-side and a giant bouncy castle.

Performing arts

Parklife Weekender also offers live art and performance including the cabaret and busking stages with Anticx bringing a host of performers which make up an all new feature of the Parklife Weekender - the Roshambo show. The Anticx cabaret stage sees dance troupes, live music, comedy, spoken word and theatre.

The Anticx Cabaret stage: Animals of Butter Bridge, Anticx, Archean Soundtrac, Ashleigh Taylor, Bugzy Malone, Baba Isreal & Contact Theatre team, Cadmans, Cellar Door, Dubside, Deaf Sirens, Effektuators, Eggs Collective, Fallen Angelz, Funbox, Harry Dyer, Head Hacking Crew, Hot Minute, Knock out Ned's Social Club, KNT Danceworks, Lillie Kerman, Martin Christie, Mixed Movement, MMU Pop & Lock, My First Tooth, Ollie Hayes, Rising Stars Cheerleaders, Rachele Whatever, Rock Chix, Sambahi, Shock Out, Slap and Giggle, Sunshine Studios, Superstar Tribute, Transfunk, Young Identity.

The Busker's stage: Anna Percy, Chris Jam, Clare Stokes, Happy Soul, Hook A Hooker Girls, Hugo Kensdale, Joseph Greenwood, Jim Hunt, Kyle Walker, Lemma Redda, Liam Bland, Matt & Nath, Matt Smith, Mind on Fire, Paris Josey, Renegade Productions, SCHMUCKS Theatre, Speak Easy, She Choir, Zoe Iqbal.

Live Art and Installations: curated by Richard Birdseed - Agent, Aliyah Hussain, Asiue2, ATG, Benjamin Murphy, Billy, Box, Chef, Christina, Coby, Debug, Dr. Me, Hozae, Katherine Sherry, Krek, Malarky, Melo, Merz, Mr. Penfold, Newso, Onek, Onesec, Polio, Richard Shields, Rong, Savage Wolf, Sega, Starving Artist, Tank Petrol, TXLW, Ventza.

The Hidden Wombs and The Tunnels of Love are in homage to the procreation process, don your sperm costume and head through giant passage ways to discover hidden parts of the festival site. The Rose Garden, featuring a large scale fabric art installation from Donna Jeves and the Elephant Collective offers festival goers a tranquil oasis.

The Parklife Market will be trading all weekend satisfying everyone's festival purchase needs.

Also popping up across the park will be giant novelty furniture plus a number of charity and campaign stalls. The Mad Ferret's Garden, houses the Truly Tremendous Treehouse stage presenting silent disco DJ talent. There's also Veg Out a chance to recline on giant vegetable seating in an area hosted by Electronic club night promoters Audio Farm.

Around the rest of the Parklife Weekender can be found Evolve Manchester Parkour and Circus Skills, The Up Stage, The Crazy Carnival Tube Stage, The Four Live Lounges, The Cone Stage, The Earthlings & Aliens Stages, Obertrons Toenail Turrets and The Tundenium Domes.
