Cal Mac provides a daily service from Oban to Tiree that approximately takes 4 hours taking in Oban bay and the sound of Mull. It is always recommended to book well in advance if taking a vehicle as the ferries are very busy during the summer months. If just a foot passenger then you are safe to purchase your tickets at the ferry terminal before departure.Camping
A new festival campsite is located at the Tiree Business Centre in Crossapol, a 5 minute walk from the festival site and has 24hr toilets as well as local amenities close by such as I+F MacLeod Shop. There are small pitches (3sqm) suitable for 2 man tents and large pitches (4sqm) suitable for 4 man/family tents. Tickets for the campsite are valid from Thursday 21st – Monday 25th July.The is also the Wild Diamond Campsite, situated in Balinoe, approximately 4miles from the festival site (a lovely walk across Balinoe Bay). Far anyone not camping accommodation on Tiree during the Summer Season is very limited so please ensure anyone attending the festival has accommodation arranged prior to arrival.
