V Festival (Hylands Park, Chelmsford) '07

V Festival returns on 18th/19th August 2007.

A number of acts are confirmed with The Killers, and Foo Fighters and Snow Patrol headlining, and also Kasabian, Pink, James, Basement Jaxx, The Kooks, Amy Winehouse, Manic Street Preachers, The Fratellis, Primal Scream, Damien Rice, Babyshambles, Happy Mondays, and more. The site is open (for weekend campers) from 10am Friday until midday Monday. On Saturday and Sunday the arena will open at 12 noon and close at 11pm (when the bands finish) There will be overnight section of the arena that will stay open, usually showing films.

Weekend with camping ticket holders must exchange their ticket for a wristband at the wristband exchange tent. Both weekend ticket holders (without camping) and day ticket holders do not need to exchange their tickets.
Please note, if you have a weekend ticket (without camping) then your ticket will consist of three parts. The left hand section is to be handed in to the stewards at the gate on Saturday, the right hand on Sunday and the centre is to be retained by yourself. Do not lose any of these sections as you will not be granted admittance and duplicate tickets will not be issued.

Car parking is £5 per vehicle plus 75p booking fee in advance or £10 on the gate. There is ample parking and you should have purchased a car parking sticker when you booked your tickets, this should have arrived in the same envelope as your tickets.

There are to be no campfires and no glass allowed on site. No alcohol is permitted to be taken into the arena. The only containers permitted in the arena will be those carrying non alcoholic liquid in collapsible plastic, foil or cardboard forms of not more than 1 litre.

The bars are operated on a token system. Tokens are purchased from the token booths then exchanged at the bar for drinks. Some token booths will remain open for 1 hour after the bars have closed so vouchers can be redeemed.

Lockers are situated outside the arena by Gate 3, prices are as displayed.
