V Festival returns on Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th August 2008.

Confirmed so far are headliners The Verve (Saturday), and Muse (Sunday), joined by Kings Of Leon, Stereophonics, Amy Winehouse, The Kooks, Maximo Park, Lenny Kravitz, The Feeling, Squeeze, The Prodigy, Kaiser Chiefs, The Pigeon Detectives, The Zutons, Newton Faulkner, The Hoosiers, Reverend And The Makers, Duffy, Scouting For Girls, Shed Seven, The Courteeners, Ian Brown, The Chemical Brothers, The Pogues, The Charlatans, Jamie T, Hot Chip, Travis, The Twang, and more. Tickets are still on sale priced at £125 for a weekend pass with no camping. There are still combined coach, camping and weekend tickets are available for both events priced from £176.50 to £193.75 and can be purchased by here.

The site is open (for weekend campers) from 10am Friday until midday Monday. The arena will be open from 12 noon on Saturday and Sunday to 11pm. Weekend Ticket holders (camping and non camping) should exchange their tickets for wristbands at the wristband exchange tent. Day ticket holders do not need to exchange their tickets for a wristband.

Car parking is available on site at the cost of £8 per car, or there is a £10 park and ride scheme from Telford. Camper vans are allowed on site at a cost of £50 per pitch.

There are to be no campfires and no glass allowed on site. No alcohol is permitted to be taken into the arena. The only containers permitted in the arena will be those carrying non alcoholic liquid in collapsible plastic, foil or cardboard forms of not more than 1 litre.

The bars are operated on a token system. Tokens are purchased from the token booths then exchanged at the bar for drinks. Some token booths will remain open for 1 hour after the bars have closed so vouchers can be redeemed.

Lockers are situated outside the arena by Gate 3, prices are as displayed.
