V Festival (Weston Park, Staffordshire) '12

Held over a large site, and offering a bill of predominantly commercial acts, crowd favourites, and radio friendly indie upstarts in a corporate festival atmosphere. V Festival returns on Saturday 18th & Sunday 19th August 2012.

Line-up

Latest additions are The Twang, Dodgy, Jack Beats, and Lawson.

The Killers headline on Saturday with Snow Patrol before them, and The Stone Roses top the bill on Sunday with Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds appearing before them. Also confirmed are Nicki Minaj, Tinie Tempah, Example, Ed Sheeran, James Morrison, Tom Jones, The Enemy, The Proclaimers, Olly Murs, Noah and the Whale, The Stranglers, David Guetta, Nero, Keane, Madness, Friendly Fires, Happy Mondays, Professor Green, Emeli Sande, Ben Howard, Rizzle Kicks, Gossip, Sub Focus, Newton Faulkner, Wretch 32, Beverley Knight, The Feeling, Rita Ora, StooShe, Childish Gambino, Cover Drive, The Rifles, Frank Turner, Labrinth, Maverick Sabre, Miles Kane, Rodrigo Y Gabriela, and more, with around 40 acts still to be announced. Tickets

Weekend tickets with camping are priced at £175. Weekend tickets with no camping are priced at £149. Day tickets are priced at £86, and a campervan pass is priced at £99. UPDATE: Only camping and coach travel packages still available.

Registered disabled customers are permitted to one helper free of charge, if you need more than one helper please purchase a second ticket for that person. (The second helper may not gain access to the viewing platforms, please visit here for full information.)

Opening times

With a capacity of 90,000 the site will open (for weekend campers) from 10am Friday until midday Monday. The arena will be open from 12 noon on Saturday and Sunday to 11pm. Weekend Ticket holders (camping and non camping) should exchange their tickets for wristbands at the wristband exchange tent. Day ticket holders do not need to exchange their tickets for a wristband.

Car parking

Car parking will be available on site at around £10 per car, or there is a park and ride scheme from Telford. Camper vans are allowed on site, the ticket prices for which have not yet been announced. The Big Green Coach will be expected to run coaches into the two sites from destinations across the UK.

Please note for both festival sites 1 campervan pitch is for a campervan, caravan or camping trailer and a maximum of 4 persons per pitch. There are no tents, cars or vans allowed in the campervan site.

Restrictions

There are to be no campfires and no glass allowed on site. No alcohol is permitted to be taken into the arena. The only containers permitted in the arena will be those carrying non alcoholic liquid in collapsible plastic, foil or cardboard forms of not more than 1 litre.

Bars

The bars are operated on a token system. Tokens are purchased from the token booths then exchanged at the bar for drinks. Some token booths will remain open for 1 hour after the bars have closed so vouchers can be redeemed.

Lockers

Lockers are situated outside the arena by Gate 3, prices are as displayed.
