The new Wakestock at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire is to happen from Friday 27th to Sunday 29th June 2008.

The original Wakestock was a wakeboard music festival with free-to-watch wakeboarding by day and music by night. Whether there will be waveboarding at the Blenheim is unclear. No details are known of this event as yet, other than that it's happening.

The headliners are Mark Ronson, Groove Armada, and The Streets, joined by Supergrass, Estelle, The Hoosiers, Happy Mondays, Funeral for A Friend, Pendulum, Young Knives, Audio Bullys - live, Hadouken, Friendly Fires, Royworld, Metronomy, The Dykeenies, Jazzie B, Norman Jay, Brandon Block, and more. Plus there are more to be added to the bill. For the line-up details as available please click here.

Tickets are on sale priced at £85 for a weekend ticket or £110 for a ticket with camping and a campervan ticket costs £40. Car parking tickets are £5 per vehicle in advance or £10 per vehicle on the day. A limited number of single night tickets will be available closer to the event. To buy, click here.

Wakestock welcomes people with special needs. Please call the Wakestock Ticketline on 01758 710000 before the event to book your tickets and they will send an information pack before the event with all the details.

Note: This is a 16 or over event. Photo ID in the form of a passport, driving license, or proof of age card may be required to gain entry to the festival site, and may also be required to prove you are 18 & over to purchase alcohol. Under 16's will NOT be permitted entry to the festival site, even if an adult accompanies them.

Wakestock are still holding a Wakestock on their original North Wales site - see here for details.

More information will be here when available.
