Waveform, which runs from Friday September 14th to Sunday September 16th, describes itself as a 'unique dance gathering'. The festival is set in the grounds of Powderham Castle in Devon.
There will be six stages of music, with a diverse range of DJ's and live performers uniting all different genres into one festival.
The event will be powered with 100% renewable energy, have a site wide organic food policy and a number of waste reduction policies will be in place.
Waveform brings together a unique synergy of the UK and Global
Underground dance culture across 6 stages of new music and is
participating in Earth Dance, an international charity project where
people unite together on 15th September to dance for peace in more
than 50 different countries around the world and raise money for
chosen charities.
Festival goers will be taken on a journey through the very best in psy
trance, breaks, drum and bass, electronica and world fusion with
special guest percussionists.
There will be performances from Eat Static, System 7, Mancini, Subsource, The HiLight Tribe, and lots more. There will be a Green Village hosting the Eartheart Cabaret Stage, Healing area, Kids Space, Cimena, Saunas, Forum, Workshops, etc. Contributors including Tribe of Frog, Archangel
Breaks, Interchill Records, Liquid Records, Festival Weather, Fusion
and many more.
The Gaia Chill crew will also be in attendance at waveform, wielding their inspirational mix of down tempo, ambient & chilled magik, and offering a place to relax and unwind after a hard nights partying. Confirmed acts include: Interchill crew: Ishq, Gaudi, Ashtech & Naasko, Master Margherita (Peak), Dom Spiral (ID Spiral), Adham Shaikh & Simon Pieman.
In keeping with the waveforms sustainability mandate, Floating Lotus will be bringing their Solar Cinema to the festival - self-powered by the suns own rays, and showing an eclectic mix of films throughout the event.
There will be a green village, situated within the camping area, which will host a wide and varied collection of things to do and see. There will be saunas and showers, workshops and shows, cabaret and kids areas, stalls and markets, food and drink (organic of course). Kids and adults alike can learn how to make dream catchers and rockets and learn to juggle, and ride a uni-cycle.
