Wheaton Aston Festival

07-09-2009

This festival is known as a rural celebration of music, song and dance; small, warm and friendly, with an eclectic mix of music, song & dance, often featuring well-established folk artists and others; which is termed on their website as 'a musical pot-pourri that's interesting and fun'.

The Festival occurs within the village and as well as concerts, there are workshops, sessions, street theatre and dance, children's activities, a craft fair, an art trail, good food and a campsite near the village centre.

The village itself is just off the A5, near Telford in Shropshire, north west of Birmingham. There was no festival in 2009, or 2010.
