Sited on 120 acres of isolated farmland, near Dundrennan, South West Scotland, in deepest Galloway, the festival welcomes families, and features 2 main stages (the Woodward Stage stage, and Summer Isle stage), as well as dance tents, and Scooter, Acoustic & Reggae tents, campsite, children's area, trade stalls, alternative area, bars, and food stalls.

Also over the weekend, Axis Sound System will feature “reggae music inna velvet earthquake style” in their own marquee where fans can buy original Jamaican vinyls and re-presses.
The Wickerman also features a Children’s Area, Dumfries Museum’s Activity Tent, a Drumming Workshop, Cosmic Circles Fire Dancers, a funfair for kids and adults and the climax of the weekend’s happening… the burning of a 25 feet high Wickerman on Saturday midnight.
