As far as festival campsites go Woodford Folk Festival is paradise. Spacious and lush for pitching your tent without the usual late night guy rope mazes it feels like a luxury holiday. There are shuttle buses to the arena (although it is a fairly short distance to walk) and good showers and toilets that not only are without queues but are fully and permanently stocked with paper. You park your car next to where you pitch your tent so you are saved the demoralizing walk with your belongings in 30 degree heat.
