The dates for 2008 are confirmed as Friday 4th to Sunday 6th July for this environmentally conscious festival located in a beautiful setting.

Aiming to be a festival to suit all ages, there'll be around five stages with live music (celtic, world, indie, reggae, ska, dance electronica), as well as DJs and cabaret in those and other venues.

There will also be cabaret, film, djs, workshops, bizarre walkabout, a kids area and kids' entertainment, sauna & showers, alternative energy, stalls and cafes, bar, a healing area and green crafts.

The acts confirmed so far are Dreadzone, Dr Meaker, Babyhead, Sicknote, Lx Paterson (The Orb) DJ Set, Sheelanagig, Bloco Electro, Green Angels, Cakehole Presley, Captain Paranoid and the Delusions, The Amigos, FOE, The Undercover Hippy, Redstripe, Prospect Lane, Wierd String Band, Cantaloop, Dirty Revolution, Kilnaboy, Di Pravino Voodoo Johnson, and The Don Bradmans.

Tickets are on sale and priced as follows: Adults (18 and over) £55; Youth (16 to 17) £30; Youth (13 to 15) £30 must be purchased WITH an Adult ticket; Child (12 and under) Free but must be booked WITH an Adult ticket. Mobile homes, caravans etc £10 must be pre-booked.

Gates open at noon on Friday and close 6pm Sunday.

Workhouse prioritises local traders to reduce food miles and makes every effort to re-use or recycle materials and the festival's power is sourced from ecotricity and from renewable sources.
