A festival to suit all ages, there'll be eight venues with live music (celtic, world, indie, reggae, ska, dance electronica), plus a chilled out, outdoor Green Crafts field, a calming Healing Area, and a Kids Area with circus and workshops for all age. There will also be cabaret, film, DJs, workshops, bizarre walkabout, alternative energy, stalls and cafes, bar, a healing area and green crafts. Adult weekend tickets are on sale priced at £69 for the weekend, £39 youth (13-17), and tickets for children aged under 12 go free but need a ticket, car parking tickets available in advance and will be more expensive to buy one on the day. All profit from the Workhouse Festival goes to support the Llanfyllin Workhouse project - a charitable environmentally sustainable community project. Workhouse prioritises local traders to reduce food miles and makes every effort to re-use or recycle materials and the festival's power is sourced from ecotricity and from renewable sources.
