lightning1000
Maybe I'm getting confused between festivals. R+L are the ones where they book credible acts as subs, not overexposed pop shite right? Nope, wrong way round. Last year was paramore, Jake bugg and macklemore. Don't worry I got Yellow covered for this one "You're obviously forgetting the Post Rock elements on the self titled album!!!!11!!!" kaosmark2
So all the Frank Turner fans will buy day tickets for both sites then It is funny with Frank Turner, I think he could sub but then again he could play 3rd easily as it all depends as the new album that is coming out. All I know is that he'll play All 7000 of them. I still think he'd be 4th top.

thetime
Yeah but weren't Bullet already playing arenas before that, to bigger crowds (genuine question; I don't know)? Yes they were, I would dispute significantly less popular though. Certainly less popular but it's not like they played the dog and ducking the last tour. Can't see them doing at festivals in the UK this year, you would of thought download would of snapped them up.

Yeah they definitely wouldn't move down from their 4th from top slot in 2012. I think they'd probably be third. Reckon they're probably of similar popularity to the R&L audience as they were in 2012, but they could easily have played 3rd that year, I reckon. Gucci Piggy
On the Frank Turner thing, I like him but he'd be a shite booking as a sub. Sunny afternoon act, ain't he?
the wonderwhy
Nope, wrong way round. Last year was paramore, Jake bugg and macklemore. It was Vampire Weekend actually

Of the half dozen times I've seen him without really meaning to, the worst was as the 2ktrees headliner. The best was as a mid-afternoon act. the wonderwhy
Yes but where he'd be good means nothing. Edited January 21, 2015 by MattDavies__
pete_glen
I can see Frank Turner playing 3rd or 4th down main, but yeah definitley better as a sunny afternoon act, bit dull otherwise. However I caught the St Albans gig on his small venue tour and he was sick so idk. Also what are the odds of I See Stars playing somewhere on the lock up/the pit/ the rock stage whatever its called? Gucci Piggy
Yes but where he'd be good means nothing. It does in a conversation about how much we'd enjoy him as a sub headliner...
kemosabe
Be nice to see him not on the line up just once personally Is he back touring on his own now or is that going to be this summer?

JamieD123
I tend to bang on about them a lot, but how likely do you think Brand New is? What with their (alleged) album release this year and having booked into some early summer festival dates in the US it's probably not completely out of the question right? Edit: Actually, just saw they're playing Primavera. That means they're more likely for glasto/download/isle of wight. The Shermanator
The Libertines, The Prodigy, Catfish and the Bottlemen, The Courteeners, Disclosure, Kasabian, Noel Gallagher's HFB, Oliver Heldens, Slaves, Knife Party are all acts I'd love to see at R/L '15. Out of these, who do you think are likely to be there?

They had to cancel in 2013 and I think R&L said they'd still like to have them at some point. With the new album, it isn't out of the question I reckon. Lumz
Would take DFA & Tyler the Creator from the Primavera line-up happily. Regarding Frank Turner/Kendrick, Frank seems to be a favourite at Reading and can see him playing 3rd without any significant moaning. Kendrick is a difficult one, I can see him playing 3rd down right now personally, but his second album is going to be massive and a sub-headliner slot could suit him then... 2016 sub maybe? TheSilence
Its quite unlikely though what with the festivals being four months apart
Andre91
Tyler, The Creator subbing the NME would be immense.
nickybu
Primavera line up looks strong! Quite a few bands that I'd love to see like American Football, Mineral, Black Keys, Interpol, Mac Demarco, Death From Above 1979.
