I'm scared that you're going to get a lot of flack

As much as I'm not a fan of his music I have to say his live shows seem very entertaining and he seems like a nice enough guy who genuinely enjoys what he's doing.

That and the use of Skrillex in Far Cry 3 was Godlike

BUT HE HAS A SPACE SHIP! Also yes electronic acts do 'do' stuff on stage believe it or not, well except David Guetta who recently canceled a tour because he lost his set list (it was on a USB key) but David Guetta is like a whole new level of shit.

The whole point of Electronic acts live though is

1) Have your music played at levels you wouldn't be able to at home

2) To provide a spectacle

And I think Skrillex puts on a spectacle. I wont be there but he doesn't seem to skimp when it comes to visuals for his music.

I think his music is fuckawful but that's fine. He seems a pretty decent guy, obviously gets Glastonbury, understands what it's all about and will bust a gut to put on a good show. The video from last years show is pretty cool. The fact that it's unlistenable to me is fine, I don't have any kind of divine right to like every act on at the festival. Long may there be music I can't stand on all the stages. It's what makes the festival thrive and stay relevant

AH BUGGER ME I wish that was true :D I didn't see the article so I guess I didn't get fooled it's just that one of my friends who I trust told me today xD

But I guess that speaks volumes on David Guetta as I don't think I'd believe it if it was anyone else.

Got dragged to the Bristol Academy a couple of years ago to see him....not a massive fan of his music but he puts on a good show and was very loud...the Bristol kids seemed to like it.

He's certainly not a 'fly in for Glasto, gig, bugger off straight away' chap. Seems to embrace Glastonbury and make a weekend of it which is a thumbs up in my book.

Me and the other half are having a mad bimble about on the Friday, so will probably catch a bit of his set after watching the start of Arcade Fire, then its off to M.I.A and the SE corner.

Dont know anything by him really but looking forward to the randomness of that night, watched his video from last year and he seems to love/get Glasto so thats a big plus in my book.
