What do you regret about Glastonbury 2014?

Only looking, not participating, in the Green Crafts/Healing fields.

Seeing Kasabian & Black Keys instead of heading to the other stage (although Ed Sheeran was awesome)

Missing Aphex Twin & Beans on Toast

Not taking a higher dose of LSD (tbf, friends only took a quarter tab, I took half, would've been way too spacey for them if I'd taken a whole one)

Camping in Oxlyers instead of Park Home

Minor one, not seeing ME's Q&A, but that can always be done next year.

Overall though, no huge regrets. I do wish they'd make the underground piano bar a bit harder to find, from the way it's always been described, I thought I'd have to walk through woods, crawl through undergrowth, then find a secret door hidden in a tree, when in reality I found it in 2 minutes. The queue outside probably didn't help with making it difficult.

No regrets for me this year. I think perhaps that after now doing 4, I've finally got it right.

Do what you want to do, when you want to do it.

Can't be arsed going somewhere? Well that's fine, especially if it's an area, chances are it'll be back again and if I get a ticket, I may go there next year.

Spend more time in Avalon? Definitely my favourite area, so yup.

See a band in Acoustic tent? Done

See a band on the Park? Done

Wander, chat, sit down, chat, drink, make the meets, have a poo in the rain.....

It was bloody ace.

*Falling backwards off my little stool at the Glade on Friday, pint in hand, right in front of supercool DJ Don Letts who was sitting behind me - he was not impressed by my inane utterance to him of the word "Oooops"

*Entering the rammed Pyramid Stage area late for Dolly at the top left of the field by the oak tree and discovering could barely hear her from there, EVEN when they turned the music up a fraction after 3 songs. :(

*Delicious banana fritters selling out by Sunday from Ghandi's Flip Flop.

*Missing Viv Albertine in the Crows Nest on Friday (clash with Rodrigo y Gabriella)

* Friday stage shutdown wrecking my half Hazel O Connor / half Tune-Yards plan. Hazel was half an hour late, while Tune-Yards finished on time, so I only heard two songs.

*Missing Smoke Fairies in Williams Green on Saturday (clash with Robert Plant).

*Utterly forgetting I meant to see Prof. Alice Roberts up in the Crows Nest on Sunday, only remembering during Toumani Diabate's clashing set.

*People in the pit yakking all the way through the beautiful gentle Diabate set - I moved several times to no avail.

*Not bothering to check out Sasha in the Glade on Thursday night.

*Seeing what looked like a newborn baby asleep without any ear defenders on, up near the front of the Wailers set - that's just not right.

Mostly good though - enjoyed it much more than I expected as I wasn't mad about this year's line-up....

Every year I always regret not seeing more and hearing about some of the performances that I missed, but I think this is perfectly normal and you just can't see everything. Happy that I managed my yearly average of about 23 bands / performances.

I saw about 8 bands this year, probably double what I normally manage to catch

Billy Bragg

Skrillex

Courtney Barnett (twice)

Dan le Sac

Wolf Alice

Fat White Family

Beth Orton

Dolly Parton

and about 5-10 mins of some other bands (Blondie, Alabama 3, Mogwai etc)

For all that I had a blast this year, it wasn't patch on last year. We managed to fill up our days with music and were never bored but a lot of it was best endeavours. Some stuff that was funny for the sake of it - a Palestinean rapper performing in the Glade to about a dozen people, some was unexpectedly good (Bajofondo, Midlake, Deltron 3030, Railing Stains, Peatbog Faeires), a fair bit was average (Dreadzone, J5, Rev Peyton, Disclosure) and some was unexpectedly moving (Yoko Ono).

Most out of it moment was definitely DJ Sneak in Bez's Acid House in the post-sunrise hours of Sunday morning followed by a wired to the moon solo mission into The Temple, The Cave and the Rocket Lounge.

Of the acts that I could feasibly have seen and didn't I'm annoyed to have missed Seun Kuti, Bomba Estereo and the English National Ballet.

Nah - having seem them a few weeks beforehand we opted for Melt Yourself Down. No regrets, really, as MYD were off the chain and we really needed something to get us up and moving. As beautiful as the kora is, might have proved a bit too relaxing at that stage of the day when what we really needed a boot up the 'arris.

Saw a kora player on the Hell Stage on the Thursday night playing with a band called Afriquoi. Was OK, but my friends weren't really feeling it, so we didn't tarry.

I regret - not visiting Despacio, as I had planned.

I had Anti-Flag marked up as a potential storming gig, couldn't persuade anyone to come with me, and made the bad desicion not to go. By all accounts it was superb.

I got a bit too wasted on the Saturday night. I certainly regretted that on Sunday.

I walked through the worst of the storm to get ice for making cocktails (they were delicious), then slept naked in some gorgeous girl's bell tent (we kept each other warm!). I don't regret either per se, but I reckon they have contributed to the monster flu I've been fighting for the last week!

I'd say getting fucked up at the efests meet and bashing my face in by tripping up on a guide rope totally bladdered is a regret and that the only thing I'd change was NOT to bother with the SE corner or Arcadia anymore, been there done that and try something somewhere else next year should I get lucky in October. I choose wisely this year with regard to acts seen and wouldn't change a thing that way. I regret the clashes but what can you do.

My regret is one I'm not sure I'll ever be able to do much about - I've got no staying power! Always have the intention of going so see Shangri La or Arcadia in the early hours but found myself after the headliners completely shattered. Any advice for next year on staying up? And no, I don't want to take any damn drugs to achieve it...

Also regret trying so hard to avoid needing the toilet. I knew festival loos can be bad so I avoided food that would give me the runs (curries, spicy mexican food etc). As such the food I had was bland and the toilets I DID use were actually fine!
