The pulled pork burrito at La Choza by the Rum Shack has overtaken Le Grande Bouffe as my favourite. Whether it was the 5 frozen margaritas waiting to get in to the common, or just a days worth of hunger, that shit nearly made me weep with joy. I may have to plan a trip to Brighton just to have it again.

Greenpeace cafe surprisingly good food and very patient with me in a slightly ahem confused state, we were in there ages as well because of the storm. The masala fries in the avalon with chutney were v good, had 2 portions of them. Also had a halloumi cone which was lovely but tricky to eat.

Oh and some apple crumble and custard from the cafe by the acoustic, lovely.

Apart from that we ate in the crew field which was v good indeed.

After a particularly bad experience on acid I eventually got it together again. Me and the wife went back to camp and had a few drinks and a chat with others. I then decided to have a lie down to rest my weary head. Some time later I was brought to my senses with a friend saying I've bought you some food, and do I want it now or later. As food inwards seemed like a good idea I said yes, and he handed me a long tube like thing into my tent. I couldn't see exactly what it was but to me it looked like a very large caterpiller in a baguette. I bit into it and nearly vomited. All I could think of was that it was indeed a caterpiller. I just put it next to the door of my tent and lay back down waiting for better times to arrive. In the clear light of day I found out it was a drawn pork baguette. I will never eat one of them again.

Ate really well this year.

My favourites though were the pulled pork sandwich at Beat Hotel, crawfish boil from William's Green and chicken and potatoes from roaming rotisserie. Le grand bouffe has to get a mention too.

I found the queues for food longer this year, particularly Sunday. As for favourites, the curry lamb left of pyramid was the biz after arcade fire.. Lots of mets good value. Goan fish curry. I tended to go for more street food , wraps etc as easier to eat on move, and it was hard to find any seats. Lots of things I missed but you can't do it all

Smoke-stack burger from Grillstock was epic. Hefty burger with pulled pork and cheese in a decent bun.

Had a great peanut and something curry wrap with a load of salad from the Fat Belly cafe near Croissant Neuff.

Several Peanut Butter and choc chip ice creams were had from Shepherds as well.

*Banana fritters from Ghandi's Flip Flop, West Holts. How dare they have sold out by Sunday night???!! (no, I did not eat ALL of them). Top tip: check whether the sauce you drizzle on your fritter is chocolate sauce as you intended, not lovely thick brown tamarind sauce :startle: . Their samosas were good too.

*Peking Perfection (shredded duck wrap) from "The Quack Shop" on the main drag from the Meeting Point to the Pyramid.

*Marscapone, fig & honey ice cream from the van across from the Bimble Inn in the Park.

Worst food: £6.50 for a rubbery egg, salty/fatty bacon, sausage and mushroom roll from a van near the Mandela tent/right hand side of the Pyramid Stage. In fairness, the bread roll was nice and the mushrooms were ok. So bad my mate binned his after a couple of bites. Never again.

Good value was the Welsh vension - bacon and egg butty with a cuppa tea £4

The Goan fish curry's veggie masala dahl and rice - always too much to finish and very tasty - £6

In fact I don't think I had a bad meal down on the Farm. I find if you stay away from the Pyramid and Silver Hayes area you tend to get better food at a fair price

I had some lovely Pakoras from Permaculture (Pakora Palace?) They were great! Mostly wraps (easy to eat while bimbling!) but I can't remember the names of the stalls. But one of the blokes who made me a hummus wrap was from near where I live, which was random

I'm struggling to remember what I had but Thursday evening was an Oggie as they were flogging them half price - hardly the most amazing food but big, cheap and filling. Chapati Man is usually a regular port of call at any festival they are at and this year I went twice, always very tasty and good value and the only stall where the person serving me was more wasted than I was.

We had lots of good grub around Williams Green, including the dosa which was pretty decent. Tried the chicked from Roaming Rotisserie too, which was again pretty tasty and very good value (£7.50 for half a chicken with potatoes I think) but not quite as amazing as some people seemed to think. The Grillstock smokestack burger was excellent too, a decent burger topped with absolutely loads of pulled pork for a bargain £6.

Finally hauled my arse out of bed early enough on Thursday morning to sample the kedgeree from the Goan Seafood place. It did not disappoint and certainly sorted me out for the day! Sampled the lobster and crayfish - both very nice, especially the crayfish which came with a piece of smoked sausage, some corn and celeriac!

They get a bad rap here but I ended up going for an Oggie twice, the pastry is amazing!!!

My favourite item this year was a slice of peach tart from the cake stall in Yam the Cassava - a slab of deliciousness for a mere £2. I bought some mango bread to try later but it got coated in woodchips after sitting in a pile of them at the Beat Hotel. Classy.

mmm foood Im hungry now after reading all these comments...

Best meal was from the Falafel place in the greenfields close to the Pennards Organic wine stall.

The fafalel was huge and so damn tasty with all the added extras, we did not eat again all day after this, needless to say we also tried the organic wine, WOWZERS! it was strong.

Next was a chicken shish wrap from the BBQ place on the left as you go from the other to the pyramid, the chicken was so tender & you could tell it been marinading for a while was really yummy and a huge portion.

I also tried the hog roast place that you see from just about anywhere when you are facing the pyramid (I was hungry and it was ramo) it was actually surprisingly good and they also provided crackling, yummy yummy!

If im lucky enough to get a ticket next year, tapas at west holts will be a must after reading these comments.

I saw sushi in the park, anyone been brave enough to try this??? Is it any good?? Also saw Sushi in another place but cant remember where.

The burger place by Arcadia was really good. Had the taste of decent mince as opposed to those shitey frozen ones that the 'hand made' burger vans were offering by the pyramid.

That's the problem since gourmet burgers became trendy, any fucker can knock up a sw*nky looking sign and pass of their shit in a tray as gourmet.

Manna's Cambodian pork n rice dish was a pleasure, as was the Steak n Stilton pie from next door.

Bubble n Squeak by the Park was decent breakfast.

Veggy pasta place at other stage was surprisingly nice, the veggy bolognase was stunning.

Thai curry was munchy-tastic during The Wailers at WH.

Smoked Salmon wrap from the Dorset Smokery on the Sunday put me on an unfathomable smoked salmon binge for days afterwards.
