FLEETWOOD MAC not doing Glastonbury 2015.

The gaps in the dates could be filled by other festivals in and around Europe. But come April I wouldn't be surprised if we here lines like 'we were asked last minute and thought why not!'

they're playing multiple dates in the UK early/mid June, then Dublin the Saturday before Glastonbury (20th)

then Leeds the Tuesday after Glastonbury (30th)

doubt they're nipping out of the UK/Ireland for a few days then coming back. they'd surely just schedule Leeds for a few days after Dublin then do Europe in one go.

they've either a reason for taking a long break around the Glastonbury weekend, or they're playing a gig/gigs then that for some reason haven't been announced yet.

its going to be the hyde park BST thing i think, the reason its not out yet is they just want the o2 to sell out first. which it duly will shortly after general sale.

I would love them to be lying but its quite clearly not happening

If you want proof that 'Platinum' and 'Hot' ticket packages are just a way of flogging undesirable seats for exorbitant prices then I direct you to the options currently available for the Glasgow Hydro, where iffy seats away up in the gods are about a hundred nicker more expensive than good ground level 'non premium' tickets.

I just snaffled some tickets for the 02 this morning for my wife as she loves them, I will be mega pissed if they do an about turn now!

Of course I will still be able to shift them on but I could do with out the initial outlay now.

Can't believe how quickly pre sale sold out this morning just minutes, luckily managed to get a pair for Manchester but I bet there will be loads being sold by touts, robbing b*stards!!

£89 each as well ouch!

Managed to get 3 for Manchester got on at 9.03 and the £50 and £140 tickets had all gone. Made do with front row of the upper tier near the stage. Just happy I'm going.

I got two £89 seats in block B1 at the 02 which look to be half decent seats going by the map, I clicked on the get me in link afterwards and the same seats are up for sale at £280 and the very front row as much as £800!

Got 5 £88 tickets for Leeds. The eventim presale kept redirecting me to the homepage when trying to buy, so thanks to whoever provided the gigsandtours link. Id almost given up, but noticed the gigsandtours tab had finally loaded with half decent seats. The huge booking fees are a joke though.

The gigsandtours booking fee was only 6.50 but yeah its f#$king daylight robbery, at least Dick Turpin wore a mask etc

I was surprised this morning that the LiveNation website was completely useless. Didn't get pass the loading screen at all. Like what Lubic87 said, thank god for gigsandtours. I had joined their mailing list and had the link this morning. Managed to nab 2 ground floor seating for Manchester for £88 each. At one I was put off completely when I saw £140 per ticket for ground floor. Good thing I did my research.

Got one for Leeds at £88 in the eventim pre sale. Was able to pick up one of the few seats in the first tier at that price so I'm reasonably happy. Most I've ever paid for a gig though! £88 for a gig and not been at that front. Madness

Tried for the £55 tickets myself in both the Gigsandtours pre-sale and the main sale today on Ticketmaster and Seetickets. No luck. Did have a chance to purchase two tickets from the next tier up but felt that it wasn't worth it, really.

They'll add another show on the Saturday at the O2 within the next few hours. They did the last tour. If you keep a few tabs open with see, ticketmaster and Axs you'll be able to pick a couple up easily enough if you refresh every 10 mins or so
