Buying
The buying process will first check that your chosen name is available. You then supply a few details about yourself (including an alternate WORKING email address), and then you are directed to the ticketbank.co.uk website who deal with the money transaction for us.

All online transactions are secure and encrypted, so your details are safe.
You can pay by the following credit cards: Visa/Delta, Master Card, American Express, Switch and Solo. If you wish to pay by cheque, please email the webmaster for details.

As we're not a big flash company we don't have fully automatic systems in place to set-up the addresses when bought - they have to be set up manually (but this also means that you get a FULL PERSONAL service in the event of any difficulties). Your address will be set-up as soon as confirmation of payment is received. You will receive an email confirming your account details when the account is set-up.

Choosing your name
You are welcome to choose any name to use as your email address, providing it's not too obscene or offensive (and so reflect badly on the website). The only exceptions are festivals names (such as [email protected] for example) - these are reserved for the festival organisers (who need to email the webmaster).

All incoming mail is virus-cleaned, and will shortly be filtered for spam too, eliminating those annoying unwanted messages.

Using your email address
You can use the hotmail-style (but advert free) interface at http://webmail.festivals.co.uk, or you can use a normal email program like Outlook Express. If you use the webmail system, it has loads of options, such as address book, spam filtering, etc, to make using your email as easy as possible.

If using your own email client, you need to set your "Incoming Mail (POP3)" server to be mail.festivals.co.uk. For your "Out-going Mail (SMTP)", please set this the same as the details given by your own Internet Service Provider.

If you have any further questions or need any help please email the webmaster.
