Michael Eavis has been talking to dotmusic.com about this years Glastonbury Festival. As well as saying that this years event will have the one of the best line-ups ever - which, to be honest, he seems to say every year - he enthused about the new Pyramid Stage.

This third version (which replaces the old cow-shed/hayloft Pyramid Stage which burnt down just before the '94 festival) is a specially built temporary stage reaching "100 foot high and clad in dazzling silver" is also bigger than the previous versions.

Tickets are expected to go on sale for this years event on 3rd April, and will be available for purchase from this website.

The full line-ups for all stages are not expected until much nearer the time - traditionally early May, but rumour has it that it may be June before this happens this year. Some of the smaller stage line-ups are expected to be released within a week or two.
