Orbital are to play their last ever Scottish show on the Sunday in the King Tut's Tent at this summer's T in the Park. Brothers Paul and Phil Hartnoll have announced that their forthcoming album ‘The Blue Room’ - due for release on 21st June - will be their last.
T in the Park acts include headliners David Bowie and The Strokes, plus The Darkness, The Pixies, Faithless, Pink, Kings of Leon, Black Eyed Peas, N*E*R*D, Franz Ferdinand, Snow Patrol, Scissor Sisters, Muse, The Libertines and Wu-Tang Clan. With over 120 artists playing across 8 stages, there's still more acts to be announced, but check out all those confirmed so far here.
T in the Park - which takes place at Balado near Kinross on 10th and 11th July - has already sold out in record time. Organisers advise music fans who do not have tickets not to turn up at the festival, as no tickets will be available.
Some people may succeed in buying - at face value - unwanted festival tickets at www.scarletmist.com.
