Marillion added to Guilfest

Monday 11th April 2005

Marillion are the latest act confirmed for Guilfest, which takes place at Stoke Park, Guilford from Friday 15th until Sunday 17th July, and they'll perform on the Radio 2 Main Stage on the Sunday.

The previously confirmed line-up has The Pogues (with a line-up of Shane MacGowan, Peter 'Spider' Stacy, James Fernley, Jem Finer, Phillip Cheveron, Terry Woods, Andrew Ranken and Darryl Hunt) on the Friday, Paul Weller on the Saturday, and Daniel Bedingfield as well as headliner Status Quo on the Sunday. More acts will be added over the coming weeks.

Tickets are on sale, priced at £75 for all three days, or £85 with camping. Day tickets cost £35 for any day. Click here to buy online.

Guilfest this year has five music stages, the Cosmic Comedy Tent - again sponsored by eFestivals, a new Tropical Bar, the Kidzone, and great markets, on a site that's been redesigned, and with a slight increase in capacity to 17,500 per day.
