Brighton gets The Big Click

help MAKEPOVERTYHISTORY

Thursday 12th May 2005

As part of MAKEPOVERTYHISTORY - to increase awareness of world poverty in 2005 - Brighton will be hosting a one day music festival as part of the International “CLICK” campaign. It will also raise funds for Tsunami Relief's Music & Creative Therapy Programmes designed to help survivors of the Tsunami who are suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

The line up at the Brighton Centre will include The Lovegods, as well as Trent, Mark Wright, nou, and p-WANA for the evening show from 8-12pm. Earlier, from 12-6pm there's Family entertainment with Teen pop acts and teen celebrities, plus events, plus partner stalls, and from 6-8pm an Auction & Film Screening, with a fundraising auction of music and sports memorabilia.

As well as the live event at the Brighton Centre, there will also be an online gig with live links to acts playing that night around the world and other international artists who have lent their support to The Big Click. The streamed programme of video and satellite link up’s can be accessed via a minimal online donation @ www.webofstars.net

Tickets go on sale on Saturday 14 May.
