Download Festival - which takes place from Friday 9th until Sunday 11th June 2006, at Donington Park, Leicestershire - has announced the first acts for this year.
The three acts - which aren't believed to be 'headliners' - are The Prodigy, Trivium, and Bullet For My Valentine, who will all perform across the weekend. More acts are expected to be confirmed next Wednesday, with the full line-up expected to be around 100 rock bands over the three days.
Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday 3rd February, priced at £115 for the three days, or £135 including camping and parking. Campervans cost £35, and parking is £5 in advance or £10 on the day. We'll of course have links to buy available on the day.
