T in the Park announced

Red Hot Chili Peppers & The Who to headline

The first acts have just been confirmed for this year's T in the Park, being held at Balado, nr Kinross in Scotland over the weekend of 8th/9th July.

Headlining on the Saturday are Red Hot Chili Peppers, and headlining on the Sunday are The Who.

Other confirmed acts are:- Kaiser Chiefs, Arctic Monkeys, Sigur Ros, Primal Scream, The Ordinary Boys, Felix da Housecat, and Slam. Many more acts will be confirmed over the coming weeks.

Tickets go on sale this coming Friday (Friday 17th February) at 9am, priced at £115 for the weekend with camping, and £97.50 with no camping. Day tickets are priced at £56.50 for each day. Note that only two tickets will be sold per order per person.

Tickets are expected to sell-out in record time this year, so make sure you log on to eFestivals - we'll have the links for you to get that all-important ticket.
