Wychwood Festival announces main line-up

Saw Doctors, Eliza Carthy, Banco de Gaia and many more

Wychwood Music Festival - which had a successful first year in 2005, and is back at Cheltenham Racecourse, Gloucestershire from Friday 2nd until Sunday 4th June 2006 - has announced the main acts across the weekend.

Friday has Billy Bragg, Dreadzone, Seth Lakeman, Mawkin, Very Be Careful, Olaf Hund, The Gs, and Fearne.

On Saturday there's The Saw Doctors, Polar Bear, Mr Scruff, The Handsome Family, Chris Difford, Aberfeldy, 3 Daft Monkeys, Doreen Thobekile, The Works, The Destroyers, Matt Sage & The Orchestra of Love, This is Seb Clarke, Decker Gives Chase, The Figureheads, The Genero Project, and Ten to Never.

Sunday closes with a Eliza Carthy Special Collaboration, and also has The Bays, Peatbog Faeries, Banco de Gaia, Sophie Solomon, Field Music, Van Eyken Band, Broken Family Band, Wire Daisies, Farmers Market, DJ Shantel, Lisa Fitzgibbon, Martin Harley Band, Perico, and Toupee.

Also confirmed (day currently unknown) are Rory Ellis, Pete Christie, Chris Tempest, and Jinder. There's still more acts to be confirmed across the weekend, including comedy which is new for this year. For all the line-up details to date, see here.

Tickets are on sale, priced at £72 for an adult ticket including camping (£85 from Friday 17th February), and tickets for 11-18 year-olds are priced at £63 for the weekend including camping (£70 from Friday 17th February). To buy, click here.
