Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Antony and the Johnsons, & more for Indian Summer

new festival for Glasgow

Monday 22nd May 2006

Indian Summer is a new festival at Glasgow's Victoria Park on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd September, aiming to be an intimate event for 6,000 people with home-grown and healthy food, premium drinks and maybe even a picnic table or two.

Acts already confirmed include the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Antony and the Johnsons, Broken Social Scene, Hot Chip, 1990’s, and Optimo.

They'll also be a Fat Tuesday tent with a musical mish-mash of soul, funk, hip hop and disco, bespoke visuals, decadent surroundings, unexpected fun with mysterious guests and Southern Comfort cocktails to boot.

Tickets go on sale from 9am Saturday 27th May priced at £60 for the weekend. No camping is available.
