Wychwood Festival, which takes place at Cheltenham Racecourse, Gloucestershire from Friday 1st until Sunday 3th June 2007, has announced more acts to the line-up of world music blended with dance, folk and indie.

Dublin-based Mexican duo Rodrigo y Gabriela are set to bring their unique blend of Latin and metal to Saturday's Main Stage line-up, and joining them are Ben Taylor, and Glaswegian six-piece Camera Obscura, while Ralfe Band - a favourite from last year - will return this year on the Sunday.

As part of the acts programmed by the BBC's Asian Network for the Big Top on the Saturday, there's Catch 22, Swami, and DJs Pathaan and Nerm. Continental Drifts (responsible for the music programming at Glastonbury’s Lost Vagueness, as well as being involved with many other festivals) programme Sunday evening's Big Top acts, with The Forty Thieves Orkestar - an infusion of eastern melodies and sultry London beats, Ghettoplotz - described by Kiss FM as 'the Prodigy with violins', and The Destroyers return after performing to great acclaim at Wychwood last year. There's more acts to follow!

Acts previously confirmed include the headliners of Levellers and Fun Lovin' Criminals on Friday and Saturday, with the Sunday headliner still to be announced. Also playing are Robyn Hitchcock & the Venus 3, Adjagas, Anoushkar Shankar, Go Lem System, Eliza Carthy, Kitty Daisy & Lewis, Subgiant, Balkan Beat Box, Shooglenifty, Zion Train, Ba Cissoko, Country Joe McDonald, and more - click here for the full available details.

Wychwood also features cabaret, comedy, and a solar-powered cinema from the Groovy Movie Picture House alongside over a hundred different workshops for all ages ranging from African drumming to life coaching, yoga to breakdancing, Mask Making to songwriting create an all round family experience.

Tickets are now on sale, costing £95 for an adult weekend ticket or £75 for a youth (12-18)/concession weekend ticket, and day tickets priced at £28 (£20 youth/conc) for the Friday, £48 (£35 youth/conc) for the Saturday, and £38 (£25 youth/conc) for the Sunday. Under-12s are free. To buy tickets click here.

Unlike just about every other festival, cars are allowed on the campsite for people to unload, then they must drive off to the car park.
