Isle of Wight confirms more actsfor the Big TopTuesday 19th February 2008 The Isle Of Wight Festival, which takes place at Seaclose Park, Newport, Isle of Wight from Friday 13th to Sunday 15th June has announced more acts for the 5,000 capacity, circus style Big Top. The new announcement includes details of a campers only special night on the Thursday with acts Bjorn Again and Suspiciously Elvis. As well as new acts for the weekend The Duke Spirit, Curved Air, Ida Maria, Laura Critchley, The Eyes, Sondura, Wills and the Willing, Paul Newsome, Florence K, Dave Stewart, and Stone Gods. The revised line up for the circus style tent, which is likely to be in The Strawberry Fields area of the site is: Thursday 12th June - A very special night for campers only! Bjorn Again Suspiciously Elvis Friday 13th June The Stranglers The Duke Spirit Curved Air Arno Carstens Saturday 14th June Sugababes the Australian Pink Floyd Show Arno Carstens Andy LoRusso - The Singing Chef Sunday 15th June Feeder Arno Carstens Andy LoRusso - The Singing Chef Already confirmed as appearing at the Big Top but with no confirmed day are Hogg, Gundogs, and Scars on 45. They join the previously confirmed acts of the three headliners of the Kaiser Chiefs on the Friday, the Sex Pistols on the Saturday and The Police on the Sunday, along with Lily Allen, The Enemy, James, Kate Nash, Iggy And The Stooges, The Zutons, KT Tunstall, Ian Brown, The Kooks, N.E.R.D, The Hoosiers, and Scouting For Girls.
