twelve more acts for OxegenEditors, Newton Faulkner, Kate Nash, The Zutons, The Hoosiers, and moreMonday 3rd March 2008 Oxegen has announced twelve more acts for the annual multi-stage music festival held at Punchestown Racecourse, Naas, Ireland from Friday 11th to Sunday 13th July 2008. Editors, Newton Faulkner, Kate Nash, The Zutons, The Hoosiers, Scouting for Girls, Richard Hawley, Roisin Murphy, Battles, Pendulum, Lightspeed Champion and Bowling For Soup are the latest acts announced for the three day festival. They join the bands already confirmed who are Rage Against the Machine, The Verve, Stereophonics, Seasick Steve, Aphex Twin, Alabama 3, Hot Chip, Chemical Brothers, Justice, Interpol, The Fratellis, Counting Crows, Ian Brown, The Raconteurs, Kaiser Chiefs, Kings of Leon and R.E.M. More acts are expected to be confirmed shortly. For the line-up details as available please click here Tickets go on sale at 8am on Friday 7th March - we'll have links to buy when on sale. The campsite will open on the Thursday this year, but with Thursday night camping costing an extra €20. Campers can get a free onsite parking ticket with every four camping tickets purchased. You must have an OXEGEN parking ticket and OXEGEN camping tickets in order to park at the OXEGEN site. NOTE:- AGE RESTRICTIONS. Strictly 17s and over only - ID required and will be checked vigorously before entry. Under 17's will only be admitted if accompanied by guardian/friend/relative 25 years or over who will sign for and accept responsibility for said person. Policy will be strictly enforced - persons who purchase and ignore conditions will be refused entry with NO refund.
