Stokes Bay confirm Alabama 3 for Sunday

plus Rory Ellis, The Fabulous Fezheads, and more

There are more acts and entertainment confirmed for The Stokes Bay Festival which has incorporated the Wickham Festival (formerly known as the Eastleigh Festival), moved to Stokes Bay, near Gosport in Hampshire and is held from Thursday 31st July until Sunday 3rd August.

Alabama 3 will appear on the Sunday and Rory Ellis, and The Fabulous Fezheads have also been added to the bill. The throat singers from Tuva Huun Huur-Tu have confirmed that their appearance at the festival will be their only UK date this year, and will be appearing at the festival twice, once on the Friday and again on the Saturday.

They join a number of previously confirmed acts including The Levellers, The Saw Doctors, Capercaillie, Bellowhead, Phill Jupitus and The Blockheads, Michael McGoldrick & Friends, The Ukelele Orchestra of Great Britain, Chumbawamba (acoustic), The New Rope String Band, Gretchen Peters, Devon Sproule, and 3 Daft Monkeys. Other attractions for festival goers include the French Cirque De Normandy, The Groovy Movie solar-powered cinema, Hand To Mouth Theatre Company, Ticklish Allsorts, a Travelling Observatory, storytelling, puppet theatre, dance displays, Punch & Judy, a 40 stall crafts fayre, real ale bars, healing area, scenic campsite, childrens paddling pool, pitch & putt course, tea garden, seafront bistro, even an Inshore Rescue Station holding open days over the Festival weekend.

Tickets are on sale, priced as follows:-
Weekend Season Tickets: Adult £85 until 31 March, then £100; Under-16 £42.50 until 31 March then £50; Under-10s Free.
Camping Tickets: £15 until 31 March then £20 per tent or caravan for the whole weekend.
Day Tickets are also available, £20 for the Thursday and £30 for any other day. Under-10s will be free.
