BBC Introducing line up for Reading and Leeds announcedwith acts including Ipso Facto, Attack! Attack!, and Thomas TantrumTuesday 29th July 2008 Reading and Leeds festivals have announced the BBC Introducing line up for the twin festival taking place on the bank holiday weekend, from Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th August. The BBC Introducing Stage will play host to new and unsigned bands at both sites, the line-up was announced yesterday on Radio One who confirmed that Tripwires, Situationists, Darlings of the Splitscreen, Pulled Apart By Horses, The Maybes, Thomas Tantrum, Tiger Shadow, Flashguns, The Cherry Cobb Cartel, Ipso Facto, I Concur, Attack! Attack!, The Last People On Earth, Kid ID, General Fiasco, Fangs, Razmataz Lorry Excitement, Fox Cubs, Hungry Ghosts, Skeletons, Eureka Machines, That F***ing Tank, FF'ers, and Loqui. There is still more acts to come with more acts and special moments on the Alternative Stage which hosts comedy, cabaret, films and musical collaborations. The line-up at both festivals includes over 150 acts during the weekend on six stages. The Main Stage sees Rage Against The Machine, The Killers, and Metallica headlining. Plus Queens Of The Stone Age, The Fratellis, The Enemy, Biffy Clyro, Bloc Party, The Raconteurs, Editors, Tenacious D, Slipknot, Feeder, Avenged Sevenfold, Dropkick Murphys, Babyshambles, The Wombats, Vampire Weekend, Manic Street Preachers, Bullet For My Valentine, The Cribs, and Pendulum. The price for a ticket was £155 for the 3 days with camping, day tickets are £65, campervans £10, lockers £15, and early entry tickets £10.
