V Festival reveals the Bowtime Bar line-upsGolden Silvers, The Whip, Sam Isaac, Beatlife Orchestra, and moreWednesday 30th July 2008 V Festival, which takes place at Hylands Park, Chelmsford, Essex and Weston Park, Staffordshire on Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th August 2008 have announced the line-ups at the Bowtime Bar at both events. The bill includes breakthrough live acts such as The Whip and Golden Silvers, plus DJ's playing a mix of house & hip-hop beats, plus there will be exclusive DJ sets from several main stage artists including The Foals and The Maccabees. Fiona Seath, from Strongbow said: "We are proud to be celebrating a ten year association with music festivals in the UK and this year's V Festivals will once again provide festival-goers with the perfect opportunity to sample the combined delights of the event experience with total first pint refreshment from Strongbow." Acts also confirmed include Kings Of Leon, Stereophonics, Amy Winehouse, The Kooks, Maximo Park, Lenny Kravitz, The Feeling, Squeeze, The Prodigy, Kaiser Chiefs, The Pigeon Detectives, The Zutons, Newton Faulkner, The Hoosiers, Reverend And The Makers, Duffy, and more. Tickets are still on sale for Staffordshire priced at £125 for a weekend pass with no camping, rr £145 with camping, and £70 for a day ticket for Saturday or Sunday. There are still combined coach, camping and weekend tickets available for both events, with coaches for Staffordshire currently available from Newcastle, Swansea, and York. Coach with camping and weekend tickets for those heading for Chelmsford are currently available from Milton Keynes, Northampton, Norwich, Portsmouth, Bournemouth, Brighton, London, Ipswich, Southampton, and Peterborough.
