Latitude Latitude 2008

The BBC Radio 4 Arena will offer festival goers at this year's Latitude Festival the opportunity to see and be involved in radio shows in a dedicated arena at Henham Park Estate in Suffolk which will be hosting a selection of the station's shows, featuring celebrity guests and broadcasts from Thursday 17th to Sunday 20th July.

Nicholas Parsons will be hosting the devious panel game Just a Minute featuring Ross Noble and Phill Jupitus amongst others. Just a Minute will take place on Friday and Saturday afternoon and will have celebrity guests attempting to talk on a subject for sixty seconds without hesitation, repetition or deviation.

The radio show Loose Ends also returns to Latitude where festival goers get the chance to be part of the audience for the programme known for its eclectic mix of live music, stand-up comedy and conversation. Peter Curran will be joined by Emma Freud and festival friends with music from Guillemots amongst others.

Stories with Latitude will feature speakers from the Arts Arenas including Lucy Porter, and John Hegley. Each celebrity reader will read a short story commissioned for Latitude on Friday and Sunday afternoon in the BBC Radio 4 Arena.

Early birds arriving on Thursday will be treated to a special edition of comedy sketch programme The Now Show, featuring Steve Punt, Hugh Dennis, Marcus Brigstocke, and Mitch Benn. Discussing everything from politicians to Z list celebrities, the show takes a twisted look at the week's news.
