plus Red Light company added to bill Tue 22nd Jul 08 Reading and Leeds festivals have announced that Anti-Flag will play The Lock-Up Stage on the same day as their Main Stage appearances at the twin festival taking place on the bank holiday weekend, from Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th August. The Lock-Up Stage show will have a set list decided by the fans. This is sure to be a highlight of the festival for fans of the band and for the band themselves when they play on Friday 22nd August at Reading and Saturday 23rd August at Leeds, the band explain, "Being able to play the main stage at Reading and Leeds and bring the Anti-Flag sense of community to the main field is pretty fucking cool, but to get to do a second show in the Lock-Up tent the same day, allowing the community to pick the setlist we play......well, it doesn't get much better. We want everyone to go to pickrset.com and suggest away. We're expecting some gems we've not played in a long time to make it to the Lock-Up tent. To add your set choice, follow the link (here) and vote for your favourite songs to be played by Anti-Flag during their special Lock-Up Stage show at Reading and Leeds festivals. Also announced today is the addition of Red Light Company to the bill on the Festival Republic Stage. There is still more acts to come with the BBC Introducing Stage for unsigned bands at both sites and more acts and special moments on the Alternative Stage which hosts comedy, cabaret, films and musical collaborations. The line-up at both festivals includes over 150 acts during the weekend on six stages. The Main Stage sees Rage Against The Machine, The Killers, and Metallica headlining. Plus Queens Of The Stone Age, The Fratellis, The Enemy, Biffy Clyro, Bloc Party, The Raconteurs, Editors, Tenacious D, Slipknot, Feeder, Avenged Sevenfold, Dropkick Murphys, Babyshambles, The Wombats, Vampire Weekend, Manic Street Preachers, Bullet For My Valentine, The Cribs, and Pendulum.
