Tuesday 24th February 2009

Post punk rockers Killing Joke, are the latest act chosen by the fans for this year's the All Tomorrows Parties - The Fans Strike Back line-up.

Killing Joke

The Mae Shi
The band who reunited with their original line-up for a world tour last year will be joined on the bill by fan choices The Mae Shi, and School Of Seven Bells. Plus the ATP chosen additions of Liam Finn, This Will Destroy You, and Hush Arbors.

Continuing their tradition of mixing artistic fields; ATP have also invited Pete Fowler (most famous for his work with Super Furry Animals) to present an exhibition of his work at this event.

All Tomorrows Parties - The Fans Strike Back offers fans the chance to curate half the line-up for the event which happens at Butlins Resort, Minehead, Somerset from Friday 9th until Sunday 11th May 2009.

Half of the line-up for this festival will be chosen by ATP while the other half is being voted for by everyone that buys a ticket. No bands can be picked that have ever played a UK ATP event before.

The first confirmed bands chosen by ATP are: Devo, Spiritualised, Young marble Giants performing 'Colossal Youth', Anti-pop Consortium, Sleep ( performing 'Holy Mountain', selections from 'Dopesmoker', and more), Grails, Qui, and more.

The first acts chosen by the fans are: Beirut, Electric Wizard, M83, Marnie Stern, and Future Of The Left, Errors, Parts & Labor, and Jeffrey Lewis & The Junkyard .
