Confirmed as heading up the Big Stop stage line-up on the same day are headliners the newly reformed Ultravox, and Australian Pink Floyd who will close the evening with their amazing light show.
They will join the previously confirmed acts include The Prodigy who headline on Friday, Stereophonics and Razorlight co-headline the Saturday, and Neil Young who headlines Sunday with Pixies, Basement Jaxx, Pendulum, and The Ting Tings, all also confirmed. Tickets for the festival which happens from Friday 12th until Sunday 14th June 2009 at Seaclose Park, Newport, Isle of Wight are priced at £140 for an adult ticket with camping which includes entertainment in the campsite on Thursday night, and £70 for a child ticket (12 years and under). The price of an adult ticket without camping is £120 and £60 for children (12 years and under).
The festival has a large main stage in a natural amphitheatre that showcases well known rock and indie names, a legendary act or two, and rising stars, in a relaxed festival atmosphere.
