Melvin Benn
Festival Republic Managing Director, Melvin Benn said, "Latitude Festival really is a focal point of the summer calendar now and it's only in its fourth edition! The level of success is fantastic and it never fails to plase me that people have embraced it as much as they have. Being able to bring together all the different aspects of the music and arts worlds is a fabulous achievement and it's that commitment that sets Latitude apart from the other festivals around. This year we are excited to announce the involvement of some truly incredible performers and companies that inspire, innovate and entertain. I for one, cannot wait."

Latitude takes place from Friday 17th to Sunday 19th July 2009, with the festival opening it's gates on Thursday 16th July for some limited non-musical entertainment.

Latitude festival goers can expect Music, Art, Comedy, Film, Literature, Theatre, Performance Art, Dance, Sculpture, Workshops, Restaurants and Waiter Service Bars.

Latitude isn't just about music, but has a full spectrum of art with individual arenas dedicated to film, theatre, poetry, literature, cabaret, and comedy, although no acts are confirmed for next year's event.

Latitude happens in the grounds of the historic Henham Park Estate in Suffolk, and positioned near the most easterly English coastline between Southwold and Aldeburgh. Henham has been in the Rous family line since 1544.
