acts including Carl Craig, Filthy Dukes, and Freestylers for Glade

plus Mulletover, Finger Lickin', and more for Matterley Bowl

Tuesday 31st March 2009

Detroit techno legend Carl Craig, and indie dance outift Filthy Dukes are the latest confirmations for this year's Glade festival.

Joining the previously confirmed artists are Freestylers (live), Limewax, Drop The Lime, Sub Focus, Shitmat, Tim Exile (live), Benga, Starkey, Leeroy Thornhill, Koma and Bones, and Radio 1's Annie Nightingale.

London's Underground electro club night Mulletover, and breaks label Finger Lickin' host their own club tents on Saturday and Sunday respectively. The Finger Lickin' area will be billed as Finger Lickin' Funk so expect the best in funk mixed with breaks.

Now in it's sixth year the Glade will be held in a new location confirmed as Matterley Bowl near Winchester, Hants which means the music will be running much later, with both the big production stages kicking it until early morning as well as an increased emphasis on smaller, more intimate venues also running late.

The exact details were only going to be released to ticket holders nearer the time but the rumours have forced Glade Festival to release the information prematurely.

Headliners for this year's Glade Stage will be Underworld, with Booka Shade, Squarepusher, Freeland (aka Adam Freeland), The Japanese Popstars, The Qemists, The Bays featuring Beardyman, Dub Pistols, Losers, The Egg, Femi Kuti, Nitin Sawhney, Finley Quaye, Atomic Drop, Ben & Lex, and Pathaan.

Other acts include Juan Atkins making a UK exclusive appearance, Dave Clarke, Adam Beyer, Mutant Clan (Timo Maas & Santos), Zinc, Plump Djs, Krafty Kuts, Rennie Pilgrem & Chickaboo, Deekline & Wizard, Baobinga an ID, Annie Nightingale, Koma and Bones, A Skillz & Beardyman, Ishq, Pathaan, Ashtech, Pieman, Ajja, Archaic, Beatnik, Blind Roller, Antix, Perfect Stranger, Los Albertos, Orkestra del Sol, Tragic Roundabout, Gadjo, Rusko, Starkey, Tayo, Venetian Snares, Limewax, Kid606, and Hudson Mohawke. For the line-up details as available please click here.

Tickets are on sale, the full price is £125. Student Tickets are available until 8th May 2009. The Glade will have a separate queue where each ticket holder will have to show Student ID. Without an ID the balance of £26 will have to be paid. Camper Van Tickets are available at a price of £45.

The organisers are determined to stop touting, so a name and address must be supplied for each ticketholder, and ID will be required at the gate.
