all regular weekend tickets gone for Reading & Leeds

weekend tickets with combined coach packages, & Leeds day tickets available

Wednesday 1st April 2009

All regular weekend tickets for Reading & Leeds Festivals have now sold out, but there are weekend tickets with combined coach packages still available for both sites, as well as day tickets.

The combined coach packages include a weekend ticket (which also includes camping) with a value of £175, and then there's an added amount for the coach travel which varies dependant on where the travel is from. Day tickets for Leeds are priced at £70 for any day (and do not include camping). To buy tickets, click here.

Melvin Benn, managing director of Festival Republic, said of the dual sell out, "This is the 7th year in succession that both events have sold out within 24 hours of going on sale and I am very very pleased of course. The stature of the events have grown and grown each year and this year's line up only adds to that. However, I must express caution towards all those who will now try to get their hands on tickets in whatever way they can as they do need to be careful of dodgy sites."

The festivals have headliners of Kings Of Leon (Reading Friday/Leeds Sunday), Arctic Monkeys (Reading Saturday/Leeds Friday), and Radiohead (Reading Sunday/Leeds Saturday), with other acts including Kaiser Chiefs, Placebo, The Prodigy, Maximo Park, Ian Brown, Bloc Party, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Vampire Weekend, Gossip, Glasvegas, and many more.
