Lounge on the Farm add Edwyn Collins as Sunday headliner

plus The Aliens, Dub Pistols, Bent, Portico Quartet, The King Blues, and more

Edwyn Collins leads the latest acts confirmed for this year's Lounge on the Farm.

Edwyn Collins will be the headlining Sunday act in The Cowshed. Joining Edwyn and those already confirmed will be The Aliens, Dub Pistols and Bent who are performing a Summer exclusive live-set on the farm, and Portico Quartet.

The King Blues will be headlining the band tent on the Friday night, with support from The Ghost Of A Thousand, and It Hugs Back.

The line-up also sees the new additions of The XX, Cage The Elephant, S.C.U.M., Chris T-T, Jay Jay Pistolet, and Ipso Facto.

The DJ line-up of electronica acts is boosted by the addition of Ninja Tunes residents AV mash-up legends DJ Food & DK, Greco Roman Sound System featuring Drums Of Death live & DJ support from Ross Allen, Raf Daddy, and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs.

The latest additions are completed by Pete Molinari, Sargasso Trio, and Trost.

Festival organiser Matt Gough, said, "We're completely taken aback by the quality of the bands we have joining us on the farm this Summer. Edwyn is one of our all-time musical heroes!"

The dates for the fourth Lounge on the Farm music festival, which takes place at Merton Farm in Canterbury, Kent are confirmed as Friday 10th to Sunday 12th of July 2009.

Tickets are priced at £85 for an adult weekend ticket, children tickets aged 6-15 are priced at £45, family tickets allow entrance of 2 x adults and 2 x kids aged 6 - 15 are priced at £180. The full price tickets for 2009 will be £85 (Adult Weekend), £180 (Family Weekend), and £45 (Child Weekend). Kids aged 5 or under go for a nominal fee of £1.
